Sr. Manager, Content, Business & Operations
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Content Business and Operations to join Snap! As a member of the Content Business and Operations team, working from our New York, NY office, you will help drive a team that sets our content partner strategy, develops meaningful insights and analytics on partner performance, manages our partner operations scale-up and supports the overall health of Snapchat’s content ecosystem. You will work closely with internal teams including Strategic Partner Management, Business Affairs and Programming, as well as key external partners. Your working knowledge of the content business landscape as well as digital advertising and monetization businesses will help Snap ensure that it remains a leader in the content space and remains a premiere destination for our partners.
To be effective in this role, you must be self-motivated, a strong leader, comfortable with ambiguity and able to switch between many hats in a day.
What you'll do:
Be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the execution of an ambitious content strategy, including content partner strategy, insights and analytics on partner performance, partner operations scale-up, and supporting the overall ecosystem
Prepare and present strategic plans and updates on ongoing progress to the executive team
Develop unique approaches to finding insights in partner performance data (audience, engagement, and revenue) and drive the ecosystem
Develop and share with executives dashboards that improve visibility into performance of our content business overall, as well as the experience of individual partners
Lead strategic initiatives for executives on the Content team and occasionally other groups across Snap. Be a flexible leader that can be counted on for any go-to project
8+ years of relevant experience working in technology, media and entertainment, consulting, or investment banking
Experience advising a variety of senior executives on complex business issues with strategic, analytic, and solutions-oriented guidance
Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams in exploring complex data analysis
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate well with colleagues
Proven record of executing independently at a high level against short timelines in a fast-paced industry
MBA is a plus
