Summary of Job’s Purpose:

We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our AR and AP team and make an immediate impact. You will ensure invoices are paid, customer issues are resolved and support the AP team as well. There is a lot of opportunity to contribute to some exciting projects as the company grows.

The Position:

• Import and process monthly customer invoices and publisher POs
• Follow up to resolve any billing discrepancy and involve proper stakeholders to expedite resolution and process all necessary invoice adjustments
• Daily Payment application
• Identify and maintain high priority account collections
• Maintain excellent working relationship with the Sales Team and Clients to resolve all discrepant accounts in the timely manner and optimize collections efforts
• Daily collection efforts using excellent customer service skills and effective collections strategies
• Cultivate and maintain a good relationship with all agencies and advertisers to expedite collection of all aged accounts
• Document and maintain all collection activity, payment arrangements and correspondence.
• Assist team members with ad-hoc reports and special projects

The Requirements:

• A Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related business field
• CPA strongly preferred or commensurate experience
• Proven track record of growth in career 
• 4-6 years of experience
• Outstanding communication skills both verbal & written.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and the ability to follow up on tasks.
• Work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
• Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong sense of ownership and perseverance
