Staff Photographer
As the Staff Photographer for the Creative Team at Harry’s, you will shoot a large portion of our product photography including e-commerce lifestyle imagery. With an ever-growing portfolio of products offered both online and in-store, you will be responsible for maintaining visual consistency and quality across all assets, as well as evolving the photography as the visual direction and brand identity evolve.
You should be a self-starter, continually looking for ways to streamline production processes while managing image requests from various internal partners. And you should be a curious and inspired creative who loves the process of making work you’re proud of but that also ladders up to company goals.
You’re a strong collaborator and willing to get your hands dirty to complete any task, big or small, glamorous or mundane, to make sure projects are completed successfully and on-schedule. You have both the technical capability and creative understanding of the Harry’s brand to not only capture a wide range of photographic styles but also contribute to the conceptualization and art direction of the photoshoots.
What you’ll accomplish:
- Work directly with our Creative Production Manager, ACD, and art directors to photograph the bulk of our product photography that lives across harrys.com, our retail partners’ platforms, and paid/organic social accounts.
- E-Commerce
- Product focused lifestyle imagery (natural environment/lighting)
- Product page imagery (stylized set, studio lighting)
- Properly name and prepare image files for our internal retouching team.
- Develop and own an archival system for all un-retouched source files.
- Maintain the organization and upkeep of our in-house studio (properly storing all equipment, product samples, and props)
Who we’re looking for:
- A deep understanding of technical image specifications across digital and print
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Capture One (Lightroom is a nice to have.)
- Highly organized, self-motivated and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to multiple project timelines
- Not required, but since Harry’s as a company is working remotely until Fall 2021, having a studio or space you can shoot from is a huge bonus. Harry’s will supply necessary camera and lighting equipment.
- Are generally awesome with a great sense of humor. No pressure.
