The Digital Operations Change Leader is responsible for partnering with business leaders to transform the organization by successfully leading the adoption of change initiatives critical to business performance while also supporting business readiness across. Creating an environment that embraces change through engagement and enablement using change management skills and approaches to drive the adoption technology, process reengineering and organizational change. 
By focusing on the people side of change, you will have the opportunity to help create the vision for change initiatives, lead the identification and assessment of impacts, and help create strategies and plans to help change adoption. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to increase awareness and understanding of change by leading the collaboration of communication, training and education opportunities by being deeply embedded in the business. 
 From leading change visioning sessions, to creative communications and sponsorship reinforcement action plans, this person will lead the change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.

Develop Change and Business Readiness Strategies

  • Identify, lead the development, facilitation and execution of complex initiatives using strategic business performance management and change management methodologies and related tools.
  • Develop business readiness and change management strategies and plan in partnership with business sponsors to identify the change vision and approach for driving business objectives. 
  • Coach and lead project teams and leaders in organizational and individual change/business readiness activities.
  • Work closely with business sponsors to enable them to actively lead and reinforce change initiatives.

Lead Business Readiness and Change Management Activities

  • Establish and lead change networks to create broad business engagement.
  • Assess change readiness and develop activities to enable stake holders to embrace change, including communications, training/education, coaching and reinforcement.
  • Lead the development of effective communication strategies and communication plans to help shift mindset.
  • Work with project managers to integrate change management and business readiness deliverables and milestones into project plans, where applicable.

Reinforcing Change

  • Partner with business leaders to understand change adoption and develop reinforcement plan.
  • Identify areas of resistance and problem solve to implement solutions that accelerate adoption of change.
  • Define and help administer change readiness assessments to understand change adoption and create strategies to address change risks.

Continuous Improvement

  • Build mastery with transformational approach, tools, and techniques such as: defining and educating client area on policyholder/customer requirements and expectations; seeking and integrating customer feedback from a variety of sources to identify improvement opportunities; using Lean principles to identify and document end-to-end value streams, eliminating waste, bottlenecks and avoidable waiting
  • time. Design optimal work cells and standard work processes, aligning people and work to meet customer demand.

  • May act as a sustainability agent dedicated to driving sustainability of continuous improvements by deepening the adoption of Lean practices, mindsets and behaviors and ensuring individuals in the business unit have the necessary problem-solving skills, mindsets and operational behaviors to support continuous improvement.
  • Relentless development of one's self by continuously staying ahead of Change Management best practices, research and business trends.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in consulting or an industry role, with experience in change management, business readiness and organizational development
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience leading and mentoring project teams on relevant engagements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Experience and broad knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices; Certification in the Prosci® model (or another equivalent Change Management certification)
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong, demonstrated presentation skills, including both development and delivery of content
  • Ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively through multiple levels of the organizational structure
  • Demonstrated ability dealing with ambiguity when driving a change management strategy, while also acting with urgency
  • Demonstrated success with projects and programs requiring you to adapt and be agile on short notice
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and establish credibility across organizational levels
  • Build & Maintain a positive working relationship with teammates and matrix partners
  • Continually strive to improve their own skills and competencies by demonstrating initiative to participate in ongoing coaching and training programs
  • Self-directed and capable of leading a team of professionals, as a cross organizational and cross discipline team leader, to drive sustainable change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of relevant experience in consulting or an industry role, with experience in change management and organizational development preferred
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Project Management or Agile certifications (e.g. PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master) a plus

Target job salary $93,700 - $128,800 USD Annual
