By building a dedicated advertising organization and a suite of advertising products, Advertising by Uber will enable merchants and brands to reach and convert our highly engaged user base across Uber's Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets.
About The Role
The key mandate of the Delivery Ads team is to build and grow our Delivery Ads business to help Uber Eats merchants effectively and efficiently reach Uber's users. In this role, you will help lead the growth and expansion of advertising and offer (Buy $X, Save $Y) products on Uber Eats globally. As a new and rapidly growing business unit, we are a cross functional team constantly exploring and discovering innovative ways to help our advertising customers.
Your impact:

  • Developing global acquisition, growth and retention strategies to grow the Delivery Ads business
  • Responsible for analyzing marketplace dynamics, competition trends, playbooking standard methodologies, and aid as a point of contact between Regional teams, Product, and the wider advertising team at Uber.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement high impact Ads business strategies in partnership with cross-functional collaborators (e.g. ENT and SMB Partnerships Team, Product, PMM, Leadership and Regional teams)
  • Address strategic questions through analytical frameworks and insights to build a balanced and long-term advantage for Uber
  • Drive global Ads product adoption across priority markets through the end to end development of insights and clear communication of the value proposition and GTM execution strategy
  • Develop performance management muscle to track business results vs. targets
  • Identify product needs by gathering voice of the customer feedback and competitive research
  • Be a strategic thought partner to team members in different parts of the world as regional businesses evolve.
  • Playbook standard processes and ensure effective information sharing across regions

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of analytical, operations, project/program management, consulting or related experience
  • SQL proficiency
  • Attention to detail and an ability to synthesize information quickly, distill key takeaways, and to weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires.
  • Proven track record in solving complex problems, leading projects with a large set of stakeholders and designing and optimisation of processes in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. (i.e. management consulting, investment banking, operations / compliance / risk management experience in hyper growth companies)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' professional work experience
  • Experience working with an advertising or ad-tech product suite
  • Customer focus for users, merchants, and advertisers
  • Passion for building new businesses and processes
  • Excellent SQL & Excel/data management skills
  • Experience working with global teams and an ability to build deep relationships across a broad organization

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $107,000 per year - $119,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $119,000 per year - $132,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $119,000 per year - $132,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
