Studio Operations Manager
The Studio Operations Manager sits within the People Team team to support Dotdash's Testing Lab based in Industry City. This on-site role partners directly with the Director of the Lab, the production team, and a Procurement Coordinator. The ability to balance stakeholders and anticipate needs are key to success in this role.
- Partner with Procurement Coordinator to devise an scalable inventory management system, from procurement through to product delivery, ensuring that items for product testing are received, stored, and, when applicable, donated or turned over to create space for incoming inventory
- Catalog products as they arrive for in-Lab testing; manage on-site inventory
- Identify recurring donation partners and devise a process that meets IACs standards for tax purposes
- Support production efforts in the Lab in partnership with the Production team, ensuring that facility needs are met to run scheduled tests
- Oversee facilities team to ensure that supplies (office, cleaning, and food) are well stocked, anticipating needs of scheduled tests
- Have direct relationship with building management at Industry City
- Manage the Lab in terms of storage capacity, cleaning schedules/vendors, delegate tasks to facility support team
