The Technical Solutions team enables Datadog's worldwide growth by educating potential clients and ensuring that existing customers are happy and successful. You’ll be joining a team and company immersed in a startup-like environment where you will be challenged, but also will immediately witness your contributions As part of the Solutions Operations Engineering team, you will use your various skills to support the global Technical Solutions team, building and maintaining our internal tooling and scripts.
Manage, develop, and mentor a fast-paced team of Solutions Operations Engineers.
Develop and complete OKRs for the Solutions Operations Engineering team.
Partner with multiple internal teams to help identify and resolve challenges.
Partner with global Solutions leadership on macro-level initiatives.
Create proposals and workflows for more complex processes.
Create and/or update scripts to automate a variety of tasks.
Lead or participate in team training sessions for new tools and/or workflows.
Help with interviewing Technical Solutions candidates.
Participate in team meetings and discussions to review tasks, blockers, and projects.
Passionate about people management and/or mentorship with previous experience leading a team.
Interested in problem solving and you enjoy automating processes.
- Experienced using Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, or similar software.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a desire for continuous learning.
A critical thinker who defaults to a client-centric approach.
Proficient in at least one area of technology/computing, with previous programming experience.
A thorough and effective communicator and you pride yourself on your meticulous documentation.
CS or Engineering majors.
Active contribution to open-source projects (code, bug reports, etc.) and the Engineering Community (Meetups, etc.).
You’ve built your own app or contributed to an existing one.
