Are you a customer-focused technology enthusiast? Are you hungry to learn and passionate about education? As a technical trainer, you will help to ensure the success of Turbonomic’s large customer base by developing advanced technical curriculum and certification programs, designing courseware, and delivering training at customer sites and via remote seminars.

Our team provides technical training and certification for all of our customers, partners, and employees. A key component of this role is the ability to work closely with our software developers to gain a thorough understanding of our autonomic platform, and then build training curriculum and course material. You will also work closely with customers to ensure that they are leveraging the platform to its full potential.

Our technical trainers wear many hats, including: Turbonomic platform expert, curriculum and certification program designer, instructor, post-sales consultant and “voice of the customer” to Engineering. We work hard, travel some, and have fun in the process. We're looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, self-starting and ambitious Technical Trainer to be credible, instructive, and enlightening in front of customers on this journey as we deliver Performance, Efficiency and Compliance for any workload, anywhere, at any time!

Responsibilities

• Educate on the Turbonomic value proposition across Performance, Efficiency and Compliance
• Stay abreast of all new features and technological advancements in the platform and technology space
• Develop training curriculum and design and implement courseware
• Expand Turbo’s multi-tiered ACE Certification Program
• Teach customers, partners, and employees on all aspects of our autonomic platform[MK1] 
• Work closely with customers to ensure successful deployment
• Deliver customer training at customer locations and online
• Provide feedback to engineering teams

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in virtualization and/or cloud computing architectures
• 2-4 years in data center infrastructure or related field in a sales engineering, consulting, development, or training capacity
• Highly motivated and passionate team player who is driven to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, and high-activity environment
• Excel in presenting to and conversing with customers; ability to deliver technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Understanding of data center interdependencies around the cloud and virtualization layer, including: public, private, and hybrid cloud, storage, security, network infrastructure, and applications
• Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, engineering, or equivalent relevant field experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills
