Technology Support Analyst
IEX is looking for a Technology Support Analyst to join the Enterprise Infrastructure team with the primary responsibility of supporting end user technologies and related processes for the IEX employee base. You should have strong knowledge of desktop hardware and application technologies, strong problem solving skills, basic networking knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex technology concepts in simple terms. What you’ll do:
- Support and assist with Level 1&2 end user support, training, and desktop maintenance
- Install, troubleshoot and upgrade all desktop OS, hardware, printers, and IT peripherals
- Support the administration of Windows and Linux user accounts, office applications, and software
- Configure and manage mobile devices and corporate laptops
- Administer and support the use of conference room and A/V equipment
- Conduct new hire administration, asset management, and IT inventory management
- Coordinate with external vendors on purchasing and support of IT equipment
- Create and maintain technical documentation for users and team members
Your background:
- 2+ years’ experience supporting end user technologies including hardware and applications
- B.S./B.A. in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Hands-on experience supporting desktop hardware and applications (Microsoft, MAC, Linux)
- Scripting experience a plus (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Perl, C, Go)
- Basic knowledge of networking principles
- Experience working with Network and System Engineering teams
