Would you like to be a catalyst for driving change across a rapidly growing and scaling fintech startup?!

As the Transformation and Uplift Manager, you will work directly with the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and other key members of the Legal and Compliance team in a broad-based effort to enhance Melio’s compliance and risk management controls. You will be responsible for supporting the coordination, implementation, project management, reporting, and measurement of this uplift program. 

Being strategic, tactical and detail oriented, you will also help to establish formalized governance forums and support the business through central coordination of response to inquiries from our bank partners and vendors.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

• Providing program management support for a large scale, multi-faceted uplift effort
• Centrally coordinating cross-organizational work streams and projects 
• Establishing structures for review and decision making on important compliance topics
• Playing a pivotal role in design, implementation of new and impactful business processes
• Leading remediation of regulatory and audit findings

What We’d Love To See:

• Experience leading medium/large-scale transformation and remediation projects
• Direct experience with license application (ideal but not required)
• Strong understanding and exposure to risk, regulatory, and compliance subject matter
• “Getting things done” comes naturally, you are comfortable in ambiguity and constantly coming up with solutions and new ideas
• Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships to promote collaboration and transparency across the organization
• Creative thinking and strong “on the spot” problem solving skills
• Experience working in startups / early-stage operations a plus
