We are looking for a high integrity Trust & Safety professional to help us deliver on our promise to our customers, employees and partners that our platform is built upon best in class security standards. As a high growth Fintech platform we will naturally start to attract bad actors. The Trust & Safety role is a critical role that will work across functions to make sure we have the right systems, technology, processes and people in place to ensure the highest quality of care for our products. The ideal candidate will have experience working on or managing a Trust & Safety team at an established Financial institution or Fintech company and an appetite to help us build and grow the function here at Alt.   

The impact you will make:

• Partner with product, engineering and customer service teams to select and implement the best fraud management tools and systems   
• Manage day to day fraud detection workflows
• Set clear targets and objectives, and establish KPIs for each core ops workflow
• Step in to directly support complex fraud issues and scam cases
• Set the strategy to scale the function and workflows as the business grows, including building and managing a team as necessary

What you bring to the table:

• 5+ years work experience with 2+ in a Trust & Security role in a relevant industry (FinTech experience a plus)
• Experience scoping and implementing fraud management technology and designing workflows  
• Comfort doing data analysis to help drive decision making
• Enjoy finding elegant solutions to tricky problems and bringing others along on the journey
• Ability to translate complex, sensitive findings and results into a concise and compelling narrative
• High integrity and a can do attitude; willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Experience working cross functionally across teams to drive toward set goals and objectives
