Mission

Build and nurture an MHP (Mental Health Provider) network where patients in all of our markets are able to get quick access to MHPs that are qualified to treat their mental health conditions, accept their insurance and deliver high value clinical care.

Quartet will have the highest quality MHP network in the United States as evidenced by patient outcomes.

Role Description

The Vice President of MHP Operations will design, develop and nurture a high-quality network of MH services across all of Quartet’s markets. This network will meet the demand for referrals to mental health services made by PCPs or self-referred by patients. The role, reporting into the COO, is both strategic and operational and will collaborate across the organization with Clinical, Product, Marketing and Operations.

Outcomes

Quartet will have a clear strategy to build MHP networks across the country with specific understanding of market-specific regulations, payer mixes and provider availability. Quartet will have a high quality, diversified mental health services network in each market that we serve.

There will be a robust, best-in-class offering of alternative care pathways

A tight alignment of MHP supply against referral demand in each market, driven by data and predictive analytics, will ensure that patients have quick access to care with the right providers

A defined set of metrics will enable Quartet to measure and report on the quality of MHPs and to evaluate patient outcomes across all care pathways offered by Quartet.

For each market there will be a detailed implementation strategy that will inform the in-market operational teams and provide ongoing strategic support.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a team to develop a deep expertise of the MHP landscape in Quartet’s existing and new markets including quality and quantity of supply and state-specific regulatory specifications.

Utilize predictive data from the Data & Analytics teams to understand market demand in each market to align MHP supply and demand.

Develop an in-depth understanding of all care pathways that Quartet could incorporate into its offering by doing in-depth research of the mental health landscape. Design and report metrics to track MHP network sufficiency that are clear and actionable.

Develop measurable quality criteria for MHPsCollaborate with Clinical and Product teams to drive analysis and build/buy/partner strategy around every mental healthcare modality need (e.g. in-person, tele-health, other non-traditional channels such as cCBT, etc.)

Partner with Patient Success teams to monitor patient demand trends and dynamically address supply needsPartner with Marketing to develop compelling messaging and collateral to support Inside Sales and Market Success responsible for MHP acquisitionPartner with Provider Success to ensure ongoing engagement of MHPs (minimize churn of key supply resources)

Experience and QualificationsMinimum 10 years experience in the healthcare industry with direct prior experience building and managing MHP networksKnowledge of alternative care pathways including tele-therapy/psychiatry, computerized CBT, meditation and sleep apps, etc.

Embrace technology and operational innovation in MHP network design

Direct experience utilizing data to drive decision-making and identify trends

Flexibility and adaptability to working in a fast-moving, fast-changing early growth stage company environment

Strong critical thinking skills, organized, thorough, capable of quickly switching gears.

Strong user orientation to delivering the best possible experience for all of Quartet’s users

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years experience in the healthcare industry with direct prior experience building and managing MHP networks
  • Knowledge of alternative care pathways including tele-therapy/psychiatry, computerized CBT, meditation and sleep apps, etc.
  • Embrace technology and operational innovation in MHP network designDirect experience utilizing data to drive decision-making and identify trends
  • Flexibility and adaptability to working in a fast-moving, fast-changing early growth stage company environmentStrong critical thinking skills, organized, thorough, capable of quickly switching gears.
