What's Clyde

Clyde is an end-to-end product protection platform that is re-thinking the way retailers increase loyalty and drive revenue, and the way customers manage their purchases. We are tackling the $50B per year extended warranty market and becoming the de facto solution in the space by leveraging an intense focus on product, design, and customer experience. Clyde delivers product protection plans directly to consumers as they shop, owning the relationship from purchase to claim submission to resolution. We know that the relationship between retailers and their customers is far from over after checkout, so we’re building products to deliver value at every stage of this relationship.

As VP Admin Strategy & Operations you will drive the scaling of Clyde’s warranty business by building the team, managing partnerships, and creating a differentiated product protection experience. You’ll be responsible for setting and tracking KPIs, and ensuring Clyde’s warranty business hits financial and strategic goals. This role is a player/coach position. Remote okay.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, manage, and build Clyde’s administration and insurance department as efficiently as possible.
  • Own the program structure and program delivery to the customer – optimizing for flexibility
  • Develop and manage administrative, insurance, and partner relationships
  • Build out licensing, compliance, and pricing functions within your department
  • Hire and manage a team of A+ players for the TPA, starting with a Program Manager
  • Partner with the sales department from a warranty expertise perspective to help get into and close deals and solution design
  • Support the success team from a program delivery and management perspective

What We Look For

  • Experience in extended warranty and insurance
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms and tools
  • Relationships in the warranty space with a focus on consumer products
  • Knowledge of Service Contract law and regulatory requirements
