What You'll Be Doing

• Managing a team of product director, managers and product analysts that oversee our digital products - including member, provider, employer, broker and marketing portals.
• Conducting interviews and informing hiring strategy for product to ensure we identify the best talent and are able to sustain continued rapid growth.
• Working closely with client delivery and engineering teams to ensure successful on-time deployments of the suite of products to clients.
• Serving as the internal and external evangelist for product offerings, which includes working with the Sales team and key customers to support sales demos and POCs.
• Leading productization efforts to minimize engineering effort for product deployments, minimize time to delivery and maximize configuration.
• Supporting the development of and adherence to agile product development methodologies.
• Providing oversight of market research and analysis to support sales and product marketing.
• Bringing ideas for new features to market working closely with product managers and product analysts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of health insurance experience demonstrating increasing levels of leadership
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience hiring, managing and mentoring product managers and product analysts
• Solid software development and architecture knowledge
• Operational considerations for a SaaS/API environment
• Ability to write focused and lightweight requirements documents/user stories for technical products
• B2B Experience - Understanding the difference between a consumer product user and an SMB product user
• Agile or other incremental development approaches and cross-functional work environments
• Attention to detail and willingness to “roll up the sleeves”
• Digital health experience a plus e.g. wellness apps
