Who you are:


You're an experienced business development leader looking to join Dataminr during a time of expansive growth as we build out our new Partnerships function. You have extensive experience building, managing, and refining channel programs across multiple geographies at a global level. You're excited to leverage your skills to contribute to the expansion of Dataminr's market share and revenue through the growth of a new partner and alliance ecosystem. 


Reporting to the SVP, Partnerships & Business Development, you'll be responsible for developing our channel strategic vision and ensuring successful execution of a world-class global channel program. You'll play a key role in expanding Dataminr's market share and revenue through the growth of our partner ecosystem and programs. 


Responsibilities:


  • Develop, refine, and evolve Dataminr's global channel strategy to expand our presence across all market segments (Private Sector and Public Sector)
  • Develop and grow the partner ecosystem to achieve business targets, prioritizing investments and resource allocation
    • Build, motivate, and develop a strong team that will effectively recruit, onboard, and develop committed, loyal, scalable partners 
    • Continually analyze, clarify, and validate partner needs through a data-driven approach 
    • Track, measure, and report on channel effectiveness against targets
    • Drive measurable incremental business outcomes for Dataminr, including new logo acquisition, net retention of customers and penetration of new geographies
    • Contribute to the development of Dataminr's channel and alliance strategy to expand our presence across both Private Sector and Public Sector segments in the ANZ region 
  • Develop a deep understanding of our channel and alliance partners' business and implement strategies to ensure their success through combined partnerships
  • Collaborate with multiple cross-functional departments through the strategic development and execution process of various channel and alliance programs
  • Partner closely with the GTM Partner Programs team to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive channel and alliance leads, pipeline, and deal progression

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in channels and alliances within Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or high-growth technology companies
  • Significant leadership experience, including starting up, scaling, and leading a successful global channel organization with strong revenue growth 
  • Strong people management skills and track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Existing relationships with VARS, SIs, Disti, Consulting & MSSP and Cloud Alliance Partners
  • Strong track record of defining and executing within a metrics-driven environment
  • Ability to interact and influence effectively across C-level executives and team members, as well as internal and external stakeholders within a global organization
  • Experience in corporate risk or cybersecurity is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a global environment with strong organisational and project management skills
  • Open to travel as required
