Want to help us transform the travel experience? The ideal candidate will have had experience in managing facilities, vendor management, and bolstering workplace productivity through the implementation of streamlined systems and processes. You will report to the Senior Manager, Facilities and Workplace Operations based in our New York City office.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for reception during our core business hours. 

  • Oversee all aspects of the office life cycle including its general organization and maintenance to ensure a productive, collaborative work space

  • Create and revise standard operating procedures for all things related to our workplace (i.e. shipping and deliveries, storage, kitchen procedures)

  • Purchase and manage inventory of office supplies, furniture, office snacks

  • Manage relationships with all office-related vendors and stakeholders (i.e. cleaning and food vendors, building landlord, handymen and any other teams that support the Away office)

  • Be an innovative thought leader in building our workspace to ensure it’s a productive, and inclusive environment that sparks innovation and encourages collaboration. 

  • Perform reception duties such as welcoming guests at the reception desk, managing incoming and outgoing mail and, distribute inbound meals

  • Ensure that the workplace supports the health and safety of all employees and visitors and that all activities are in accordance with local law and code.

  • Partner closely with the People & Culture team to bring our Workplace of the Future model to life

Who you are:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience managing facilities & workplace operations

  • Have a great eye for detail and high standards for keeping a neat and well-organized office. 

  • Friendly, welcoming and confident in your leadership to lead our team through change and evolution

  • Have an appetite and aptitude managing complexity and high volume against tight timelines

  • Never satisfied with the status quo, always thinking "how can we do this better?"

  • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude

  • Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)
