Workplace Operations Lead
The Role

We are looking for a rockstar Workplace Operations Lead to contribute to the employee and client experience at our New York City headquarters! This individual will take a great deal of pride in ensuring the smooth operation of Cedar’s office. As a part of the People Experience team, you will be in charge of keeping our space organized and operational, while creating a productive, safe and all around first class office experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact with building management for service needs, deliveries, etc.
- Collaborate with the building to manage bookings such as vendor approvals, COI’s, loading dock reservations and freight
- Organize and stock all office supplies, snacks & drinks, lunch, printer room, etc.
- Must be comfortable and willing to set up and breakdown company events, including those after working hours
- Anticipate office needs and proactively address them
- Raise maintenance issues to the maintenance team
- Think creatively about the office, our people and propose unique solutions
- Following a transition back to the office - set up new hire desks/clean up leavers desks
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors and other team members
- Help craft the visitor experience and innovate ideas to make the team’s experience memorable
- Willing and available to work full time from our New York City office
- Other duties as necessary to ensure day to day office efficiency
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years experience in office operations necessary
- Previous experience with office moves
- Previous vendor management experience; experience with New York vendors a plus
- Prioritizing effectively in a fast paced environment
- Ability to walk the space and proactively find areas for improvement
- Strong organizational skills; detail and customer service oriented
- You are passionate about the workplace experience
- A written and verbal communication superstar
