Consumer appetite for mobile application based assistance in weight loss and health management is accelerating. Driven by a mission to help people everywhere live healthier lives through behavior change, Noom is ambitiously expanding its footprint into this market with great mobile products proven by successful user experiences.  

Noom is looking for a highly motivated Zendesk Administrator to be responsible for the execution of day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of our Zendesk instance. This role is responsible for continuously improving the platform and other customer support tools to enable Noom’s growth.  You will be expected to have a broad understanding of customer support tools and Zendesk capabilities, change management and user management to provide the best experience for our end-users and agents. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design Zendesk to handle multi-tiered correspondence
  • Design and implement contact forms, including triggers, conditional fields, etc. 
  • Administer configuration, systems integration, and testing
  • Uphold strict and consistent standards of process documentation for distribution to internal support agents and the business
  • Troubleshoot support issues within Zendesk as they arise with detailed mitigation plans
  • Configure Zendesk agent views, reports, and dashboards
  • Decrease time spent on non-customer communication within Zendesk by creating workflow efficiencies.
  • Manage views, triggers, automations, and settings for Zendesk Support, Explore, Guide, and Chat
  • Build reports as required to monitor performance of customer support
  • Work with managers, quality assurance specialists, and directors to understand the strategic demands of the organization and ensure that Zendesk is set up accordingly

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years experience with Zendesk Administration
  • Strong understanding of Zendesk, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, custom fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Comfortable independently managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with our softwares and plugins: Agyle Time, Playlist, MaestroQA
  • Understanding of Javascript, Postman, APIs, HTML, CSS to develop integrations and business applications
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Zendesk Support Certification 
  • Partners with pillar teams to develop reporting capabilities, metrics & executive dashboards with Zendesk

Pluses:

  • Zendesk Explore Certification and Zendesk Guide Certification
  • SQL, Looker, Zapier, Jira Experience
  • G Suite Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in front-line support
