Group Nine Media is currently seeking a Paid Distribution Manager to oversee large projects for our clients and advertisers. The role will report to the Director of Paid Strategy and will work with both Supercall and Group Nine teams, including editorial, advertising sales, media delivery, audience development, the Content Studio (Alchemy at Group Nine), and sales marketing. He/she/they has complete knowledge of and passion for the social advertising and paid distribution landscape; is comfortable with social analytics, insight, and measurement; and is a proactive, enthusiastic self-starter.

Key responsibilities for Supercall (50%)

  • Manage and execute all paid social distribution of branded content across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter (additional or emerging platforms on an as-needed basis) for Supercall, our property devoted to the spirit of cocktails and culture
  • Manage an overall paid social budget that supports both branded campaigns and overall site health
  • Work with branded content team and social team to ideate, coordinate, plan, and activate social campaigns for liquor brands
  • Develop and implement best practices for copy, creative, and audience targeting with oversight from Director of Paid Strategy
  • Responsible for knowledge of and adherence to compliance language for social media, as required by brands; and proper branded content disclosure within social platforms
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly or as-needed client-facing reports and insights decks
  • Manage creative and copy optimization framework (A/B tests) within paid social and for branded content

Key responsibilities for Group Nine (50%)

  • Manage and execute paid distribution of branded content for high-revenue, high-visibility advertising campaigns across the Group Nine portfolio of brands
  • Execute campaigns across a variety of platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat Discover
  • Communication with external teams when necessary, including client or agency teams, social vendors, and partners
  • Develop and implement best practices for copy, creative, and audience targeting with oversight from Dir. of Paid Strategy
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly or as-needed client-facing reports and insights decks
  • Manage creative and copy optimization framework (A/B tests) within paid social and for branded content
  • Work with sales account management team to acquire client assets and coordinate campaign launches
  • Work with delivery team to ensure full, on-time, and efficient delivery of advertising campaigns
  • Work with billing team to accurately track what to bill clients on social campaigns
  • Responsible for knowledge of and adherence to compliance language for social media, as required by brands; and proper branded content disclosure within social platforms

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years working in social media or social analytics at a brand, publisher, agency, or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Strong knowledge of the existing paid social landscape and enthusiasm for discovering new, emerging platforms or capabilities that increase efficiencies and engagement
  • Proven track record of managing and executing campaigns using native platform tools such as Facebook Ads Manager/Power Editor, Google AdWords, Twitter Ads
  • Working knowledge of paid social tactics, bidding & optimization models, 3rd-party tracking, audience targeting, and ad formats
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to comfortably translate large data sets into actionable takeaways and insights
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Experience with client-facing communication a plus
