We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Clinical & Bioinformatics Expert with a background in medicine and bioinformatics. This role is part-time (15-20 hours) and will involve close collaboration with our internal data science and product teams, solution architects, and customers. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping our clinical products and analytics, ensuring they meet the highest standards and effectively address the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Product & Data Science Advisor:
- Collaborate with data science and product teams to develop and enhance clinical products and analytics.
- Provide clinical insights to guide the development of new features and improvements to existing products.
- Customer Engagement:
- Partner with the Client Solutions team to bring clinical expertise to prospective and existing customer conversations
- Define proof of concepts and analytics projects that demonstrate our data advantages and opportunities to incorporate Particle data into critical clinical workflows.
- Assist in showcasing our solutions to help secure new deals and partnerships.
- Subject Matter Expertise:
- Serve as an internal expert on disease processes and clinical workflows.
- Inform product development and customer-focused activities with deep clinical knowledge.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with clinical experience.
- Proven experience in bioinformatics and data analytics.
- Strong understanding of disease processes and clinical workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical information to non-clinical team members and customers.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare data company or a related field.
- Knowledge of value-based care arrangements.
- Experience in product development or customer-facing roles.
