OVERVIEW
VICE.com is seeking a part-time freelance motion graphics animator for VICE's Snapchat Discover channel based in our Brooklyn, NY Office. We’re seeking a professional who is not only proficient in motion graphics, but also with a strong editorial sense for short-form storytelling.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will create daily, original graphics for VICE's Snapchat Discover platform
- Edit VICE content into Snapchat-appropriate, social content
- Will format images and text for longform content
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have extensive experience creating motion graphics and should be a master at After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere
- Illustration and 3D experience a plus
- Past experience producing visual content around culture, media and news
- Familiarity with the Snapchat App
- Familiarity and enthusiasm for the VICE brand and its editorial mission
