Founded in 2010, Birchbox is a leading beauty and grooming retailer, offering an efficient, personalized way to discover and shop for new products. We redefined the e-commerce experience by pairing a monthly subscription of samples with a curated online shop featuring more than 800 best-in-class brands. Birchbox is looking for an enthusiastic Photo Intern who will primarily work with the Senior Photo Editor. The right candidate is detail-oriented, a self starter, enjoys problem solving and seeks mentorship to learn how an in-house photo team operates. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the workings of an in-house creative team and marketing team.

 The Photo Intern at Birchbox will:

• Primarily assist in keeping our digital photo archive up to date by uploading Birchbox created images and properly keywording metadata
• Assist Senior Photo Editor in preparation for upcoming photos shoots and photo research for campaigns
• Assist in tracking down and returning products for photo shoots
• Re-size and do light retouching of product and editorial imagery we needed

A successful Photo Intern candidate will:

• Be a current undergraduate student majoring in photography
• Have past internship experience
• Have experience with adobe programs
• Have a proactive, self-starter attitude
• Have an overall interest in photography and the photography industry

** Please note this internship is for credit only. Candidates must be able to dedicate a 15-20 hours per week throughout the spring. **
