Associate Product Manager - Educator
Zearn is looking for an Associate Product Manager who is passionate about solving complex problems and working collaboratively to build features for our Educator experience. As a member of our product team, you’ll help define and prioritize new features, manage weekly development sprints, and lead research projects to help Zearn build an excellent Middle School product for teachers and admins.
What you'll do:
- Partner with engineers, designers, and educators to define, prioritize, and deliver high quality digital experiences for educators
- Manage the end-to-end product development process:
- Translate user needs into detailed product requirements, specifications, and timelines
- Partner with Zearn’s design team to develop wireframes and visual layouts
- Work with Zearn’s engineering team to plan and sequence development
- Ensure features are delivered on time and function as desired
- Communicate new features and gather feedback internally and externally
- Analyze user data to improve educators' learning experience
- Review user feedback and visit schools to understand educators’ needs and refine product usability
- Lead research projects to develop Zearn’s product strategy as we bring Zearn into middle schools
Ideal candidates will have:
- 3+ years of work experience in product, education technology, consulting, or related field
- Ability to take ownership of projects from planning through execution
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to manage multiple projects on tight timelines
- A desire to collaborate and a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills
- UX sensibility to create excellent experiences for educators
- Excitement to understand and learn an existing and complex system
- Commitment to Zearn’s mission of providing an exceptional education to all children
- A love of learning, and a love of math

- Experience with agile software development a plus
