About the Role
We are looking for a Chief Product Officer to be a member of HealthQuarters Leadership team. As Chief Product Officer, you will spearhead the product vision and north star for a technology stack can reimagine the experience of going to a doctor’s visit. HealthQuarters partners with leading health systems to offer a more uniform and holistic experience of care delivery when going to see your doctor. From when a patient enters the HealthQuarters clinic to when they leave, you will drive the product experience for a seamless and integrated visit. You will also inform how technology plays a role in patient engagement pre and post an onsite care appointment. You develop workflows for providers who share the retail space so that the patient’s experience is highly personal and seamless. You will define the product roadmap and be in charge of a broad set of 3rd party system software integrations and external API calls. You will initiate hiring a UX and dev team and drive key strategic technology initiatives that deliver on the brand promise of HealthQuarters. You’ll be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and solving this venture’s most critical product opportunities. The Chief Product Officer will report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulate the product vision and north star for how HealthQuarters will transform the typical doctor’s appointment and care experience.
- Define the product roadmap and drive product creation through a full lifecycle including user research, design, development and release.
- Communicate the company’s technology and product vision to outside stakeholders including: investors, management, staff, partners, customers and other stakeholders.
- Drive build vs. buy decisions as it relates to the product stack.
- Own all product metrics, data dashboards and user engagement.
- Negotiate and manage third party vendor and consultant contracts and/or service agreements.
- Be a core member of the founding leadership team in driving the direction of the company.
Qualifications:
- 10 + years in healthcare delivery or a Health IT company.
- 5-7+ years of experience in product management (with at least 5 or more years as a product lead).
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs), interoperability and system integration (HL7 or FHIR), workflows around patient check in and check out, and patient scheduling.
- Experience leading one or more product and engineering pods and driving weekly Sprint meetings.
- Knowledge of integrating with external 3rd party solutions and APIs.
- Desktop and Mobile expertise.
- Experience working in an early startup is a plus.
- Strong problem solver & communicator – you know how to talk to UX designers and engineers and are able to explain reasons behind design decisions; you appreciate the product building lifecycle.
- Scrappy, self-motivated, organized and accountable.
- MBA or BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
