As Data Product Owner you will partner with analysts and leaders in every department to drive innovation through use cases for the centralized data warehouse, democratizing access with user-friendly tools and drive adoption of data. You will lead efforts to standardize and define metrics, assess BI tools and develop a ‘single source of truth’ for the company’s data.

This role will sit within the Analytics team, and coordinate between Analytics and Data Engineering.

What you’ll do

  • Define and maintain a roadmap for our Data Engineering workstream based on stakeholder needs, overall product development roadmap and business benefit
  • Work with stakeholders in all departments to understand data capture requirements, and how best to structure data in the warehouse
  • Write user stories to enhance our data warehouse and/or analytic tools
  • Prioritize the backlog of user stories for delivery, ensuring they stay aligned with the company’s overall priorities
  • Engage with development teams to ensure business needs are translated into appropriate technical specifications
  • Perform user acceptance testing where required

Who we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years analyzing, modeling or managing large data sets
  • Highly effective oral and written communications skills
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering results across multiple teams and locations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills a must
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment
