As a Director of Product Management, you will be a leader within the Global Core HR product team and a key member of the broader Lifion product organization. In this role, you will balance setting a product vision for the future of work, setting immediate priorities across multiple development teams, leading/mentoring other Product Owners, and executing delivery on your own set of features. The Global Core HR team is responsible for ADP's Next Generation features for position management, foundational HR structures, Associate data, employment lifecycle actions, and knowledge management. In addition, our team is responsible for establishing the global tools required to enable our growing list of multinational and global clients. You will partner with ADP COEs across the globe to validate new use cases for our features.

In short, you will be front and center in helping us move forward and demonstrate your capacity to act like an owner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive strategic feature growth by leading/mentoring other Product Owners to manage prioritization, escalate, risk, and define tradeoffs
  • Manage execution for specific product features as a Product Owner, from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life
  • Become an expert in your domain: research competitive products, industry trends, and business impacts in HCM to determine how we drive unique value and market differentiation
  • Represent product capabilities, articulate vision, and capture user feedback in discussions with implementation teams and client users
  • Lead compilation of prioritized feature roadmap for cross-team prioritization with Sr Director of Product and other product leaders
  • Ability to clarify requirements that balances business needs with innovative ideas and make recommendations to the technical and design approaches to meet requirements.
  • Develop user stories and requirements while evaluating their potential and practicality by analyzing market and customer needs.
  • Serve as the central resource with design, process, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution.
  • Partner closely with UX, project management, and development teams to align on design, technical tradeoffs, and delivery timelines of your assigned features/priorities
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and service on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, etc. to ensure that business objectives are achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in a market-facing software and Human Capital Management solutions in a product management role
  • Experience with enterprise software in a B2B environment
  • A problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Driven by collaboration and open communication and deep listening
  • Capable of managing multiple stakeholders on the best course of action for the product
  • Deep knowledge of agile and hybrid agile software development methodologies, i.e., scrum and experience with managing a product backlog (grooming, prioritization, and refinement), working day-to-day with the product SCRUM teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and design teams to accomplish project goals
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Able to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enterprise software experience is a major asset - HCM/HR Tech experience a big plus!
  • HR-related industry or consulting experience
  • Demonstrated desire to change an industry through product
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience
