We’re building the dream team to power our growth and this critical role will be all about shaping the GTM strategy for our growing portfolio of solutions to capitalize on the massive addressable market that we have in front of us.

We are looking for an experienced Director of Product Marketing to build and lead a new team focused on emerging markets for OwnBackup. This high-profile role will be a mix of hands-on product marketing paired with establishing a high-performance team of PMMs. Together, you will be responsible for end-to-end GTM for new products on the roadmap, expansion of existing products within key industries, and working directly with our robust ecosystem of partners to grow our collective businesses. You’ll coach your team to build deep, collaborative partnerships with our product teams and build a bridge between product strategy and marketing strategy. The role is an incredible opportunity to have an immediate impact in a mission-critical piece of our business. 

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Recruit, lead and scale a world-class product marketing team to support this new function of the company
  • Partner with the core product marketing team to align objectives, share best practices, and leverage insights
  • Launch new products with a strong, relevant point of view and cohesive strategy
  • You’ll conduct research to expand our knowledge of the market, refine our personas and deepen our reach in key segments, industries and geos
  • Gain mindshare and support demand gen activities with a regular cadence of assets and support--including webinars, product videos, speaking engagements, eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, and more
  • Deliver initial and ongoing enablement to the sales team and other customer-facing stakeholders
  • Manage pricing and packaging
  • Become one with your peers in product management to influence the roadmap
  • Establish thought leadership for OwnBackup and our executives
  • Prepare weekly updates to disseminate to stakeholders throughout the org

Your Work Experience

  • BA or BS from an accredited university in a marketing related field
  • 8+ years of experience with a high-growth B2B tech company (SaaS strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of leadership experience; hiring, managing and developing talent
  • Demonstrated experience driving GTM plans
  • Ability to speak the language of product teams fluently
  • Exceptional story telling skills
  • Experience in SaaS CRM a very strong plus
  • Extremely organized, methodical and detail-oriented
  • Adept at managing stress and pressure
  • Strong people and interpersonal acumen comfortable working in cross functional integrated teams
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative spirit
