We’re looking for amazing Product leadership talent to drive the development of of the internal tools and capabilities which are core to Nomad's mission of removing every obstacle between providers and the patients they care for.


What will you do at Nomad?

As the Senior Director of Product, reporting directly to the VP Product, you will lead a team focused on delivering experiences which enable internal users to connect clinicians with the perfect job as quickly and as effortlessly as possible. This is a business-critical space in which we will continue to redefine how the industry works. At Nomad your impact will be felt through your responsibility for half of our product line, a role recognized as crucial across the company, and includes:


Be the champion for our internal users by owning the vision and mission for our internal tools and capabilities; take the lead in exceeding targets for some of the most important goals at the company.

Be accountable for the product strategy and roadmap. Lead teams to best prioritize their work towards both maximizing business value and excellence in product design, development and customer experience.

Recruit high caliber Product team members as Nomad continues its growth and expansion, and act as a key contributor to Product team culture, product best practices, effective collaboration across scrum teams, and with the rest of the business.

Coach, mentor, and inspire Product managers and individual contributors in the Product organization on technical and career development.

Combine outstanding business sense and alignment with enterprise value. Work closely and effectively with business stakeholders in scoping and prioritizing product work, communicating releases and measuring results, and iterate the process.

Lead by example. Very technically involved in coaching and driving product design, development discussions and decisions with members of the team, and through product specs and product review activities.

Build strong relationships with your partners who are Engineering Managers, Operations, Data Analysts, and more. Collaborate with business functions to deliver best technology value to our users through your products.

Be involved in the Agile process at Nomad, such as sprint planning, retrospective meetings, standups and spec reviews. Hold your scrum team product managers accountable for and help them with milestones and deliveries.

Who Are You? 

Proven experience in leading multiple Product and Engineering initiatives at growth stage technology startups, managing multiple scrum teams and coaching Product managers, and scrum team members.

Proven experience defining software and platforms for B2B or internal operations, such as HR technology, recruiting and applicant tracking systems, customer relationship management, labor marketplaces, project or document management.

Strong product vision and execution skills. You have a strong opinion on the products you build and the value it creates in the longer term. You also set optimized milestones and lead the teams to execute prioritized work to achieve your goals.

Customer obsession. You are obsessed with talking to your customers, absorbing their problems, and bringing to life solutions that matter to them. You take pride in earning customers’ trust and they decide to use your product because it’s delightful and useful.

An empathic people leader who is as passionate about developing product team members as they are about developing their products, and has experience leading and growing complex technology functions with scrum teams of 30+ product and engineering members.

Outstanding analytical skills, and ability to analyze user data, think creatively and solve problems with data-driven decision making.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate product concept, goals, tasks and deliverables to cross functional collaborators in a distributed and remote-enabled team setting.
