Here at Noken (www.hellonoken.com), we are building the next-generation travel agency. Nominated as one of the 50 NYC startups to watch, Noken is growing 5x annually and backed by top tier venture firms like Bessemer and Primary. We’ve recently closed a new round of funding with a clear path to growth in the coming year. We’re looking for someone who will bring a strategic mind to our vision and become an early team member of a high-growth startup (“one of the OGs”).

What you'll do

The trips you design will be traveled by thousands of people. You’ll be responsible for curating and launching countries and for maintaining all institutional knowledge of your own country portfolio. You will need to manage a team of external help to meet challenging deadlines for multiple ongoing projects and to grow your country portfolio monthly.

As part of the Expansion team, you will be held accountable by every Noken team: how you curate itineraries will impact tech/product decisions, choices you make will set operation needs for each country, you will be responsible for building the tools to empower the sales and customer support team, and marketing will lean on your country knowledge to design their campaigns.

Who you are

You have a strategic mindset and enjoy problem-solving. You know the power of “80/20” in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have experience working collaboratively in a team, are looking to learn to lead, and get excited at the idea that your work could set the future direction of how a company operates.

You have a passion for travel – you can confidently build a travel product, whether that is an itinerary or a mobile app user experience, that anticipates the needs of our travelers exploring to foreign countries and who wholeheartedly are trusting their dream vacations with us.  

Preferably, you have experience with business execution and/or project management with high ownership, tight deadlines, and a vast amount of information.
