Job description

The Governance, Risk and Privacy Analyst that will work collaboratively with the various teams throughout the organization and play an instrumental role in defining Lifion’s approach and adherence to compliance and privacy policies, standards, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Lifion Privacy, Legal, and Security teams to identify and evaluate risks with potential impact to the business and then implement controls to achieve program goals and requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with all Lifion teams including Product, Sales, Client Implementation, Legal, and Engineering to ensure that our practices are consistent with corporate privacy and compliance policies.
  • Identify strategic compliance objectives and map program deliverables to the requirements.
  • Work with ADP audit team and external auditors for the compliance program, create and/or document workflows, and narratives for periodic reviews.
  • Assist in a company-wide privacy and compliance awareness program that is tailored to the needs of specific roles within the organization.
  • Distribute current knowledge of privacy and data protection trends to influence product roadmaps and identify additional opportunities for strategic functional and technical improvements.
  • Good understanding of one or more global privacy and data protection regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, Privacy By Design, SOC, ISO27001.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, information assurance, computer science, management information systems, computer information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to identify and test various controls throughout product functionality, release cycles, and technology to implement improvements to controls as needed.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or all of the following: Product Management, IT Internal Audit, Governance/Risk and Compliance, Privacy
  • Experience working with the GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC, ISO27001, BCR, GLBA and other relevant regulations in order to perform data inventory, compliance program assessments, and privacy program implementations.
  • HCM (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time, Talent Management) Domain Knowledge and at least 2 years of experience in HCM Governance, Risk and Privacy projects.
  • Experience conducting privacy and security risk and/or gap assessments and internal privacy audits, reviewing privacy practices, and preparing reports and other deliverables that contain strategy, project, or technical analysis and findings.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues simply and convincingly to help drive creative decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Any professional privacy certification such as CISA or CIPM.
