About the Role
We are looking for a highly strategic, analytical product leader to lead a new team focusing on enabling high-quality healthcare through the smart use of data, insights, and real-time intelligence. You’ll own the strategy for how Ro can deliver highly relevant, safe, patient-centric care while establishing a common data and insights platform across the company. Reporting to the Director of Product for the Patient Care team, you will also be responsible for mentoring -- and in the near term managing -- a small team of talented product managers, while partnering closely with leaders across Tech, Clinical, Operations, Data, and Legal.
What You’ll Do:
- Define and lead the vision and strategy to drive relevant, safe patient-centric care through the smart use of data and intelligence
- Establish Ro’s health data & insights platform, enabling other teams to move faster and deliver real-time value in the product experience
- Foster and sponsor innovation, identifying new opportunities that will revolutionize the future of patient-centric care
- Lead a cross-functional team of product designers, engineers, analysts, and data scientists to identify and execute opportunities to drive deeper relationships with patients while achieving the highest level of patient safety
- Collaborate closely with the leaders on the Clinical Strategy, Clinical Quality & Safety, Data, Operations, and Legal teams
- Mentor and, in the near-term, lead a successful team of product managers
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years experience leading data platform products
- Successful track record of owning a complex area of a business, defining a 12-18 month product vision and strategy and leading multiple squads/teams to deliver against goals
- Experience partnering closely with data science teams to deliver meaningful value to the product experience
- Passion for breaking down complex problems into simple solutions and making data-informed decisions
- Excellent product judgment: Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance stakeholder needs with business priorities, and drive detailed trade-offs over the product lifecycle
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills: Ability to establish common ground with empathy and candor, manage conflicting points of view, and articulate the rationale behind decisions
- Bonus points: At least 1+ years experience managing other product managers
