We are launching a stealth venture in the mental health space, with the mission to provide access to affordable and high quality mental health services for all patients.         

As the first member and new leader of our Growth team, reporting directly into our co-founder and CEO, you’ll lead the development and execution of our growth playbook in effort to rapidly grow our network of therapists, the clients they treat, and the health insurers we contract with. 

As a full stack growth expert operating in a highly entrepreneurial environment, you’ll define and build a team to execute a full sales funnel across each side of our marketplace - from growth marketing and lead generation to therapist contracting. 

You will build the supply-side and demand-side of our company’s mental health marketplace all while measuring and maintaining its balance. This includes building and scaling a team that can sell our vision and articulate the value we provide to each stakeholder. Through these interactions, you’ll gather critical insights for other internal teams across the business and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, UX/Design, and Operations to translate those insights into meaningful improvements of our product offering.  

What you'll do:

  • Develop and drive growth experimentation including new channel, creative, or audience targeting strategies, and execute tests quickly to support learning, added scale, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage, optimize and expand our lead generation programs across paid search, paid social, direct mail, content marketing, email and other channels.
  • Develop go-to-market campaigns to pre-seed new geographies/markets with an eye to building supply and demand as quickly as possible in each new market.
  • Build and drive our physician marketing strategy to drive client referrals to our therapists. 
  • Collaborate with creative designers to develop rich, on-brand digital ads and landing pages that effectively communicate Uplift’s value offering and drive leads.
  • Proactively forecast demand and coordinate with the operations team to balance demand and supply for each geographical market we are in.
  • Own the growth budget model and provide analytical insight into customer acquisition, CAC, and LTV for different client and therapist referral cohorts by channel; Drive data-driven decisions about how to optimize our growth programs.
  • Play a key role in evolving, defining, and driving our acquisition KPIs, analytical systems, and business processes as we scale, creating an accountable team culture that balances risk-management and cost controls with speed-to-market and groundbreaking growth innovation.
  • Partner with our Product/Engineering and Operations teams and to translate sales insights into business improvements.

What you'll need:

  • Background
    • 8-10 years of performance marketing and user acquisition across a range of online and offline channels; experience with high growth DTC, B2B and/or B2B2C marketplace companies.
    • 3-5 years of managerial experience. 
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and discussions, action plans and campaigns that drive objectives.
    • A consistent track record of exceeding overall acquisition, engagement and retention goals, with the ability to communicate strategies, successes, and learnings.
    • Expertise in data-driven strategy development, with the ability to adapt priorities quickly in response to in-market changes; SQL or comparable capabilities preferred, but not required.
    • Savviness around analytics; up-to-date on innovative tools, platforms, and resources to develop a data-driven team with the agility to pivot in real-time.
    • Strong campaign management orientation, identify new themes / topics, offers, and platforms to reach our target market with those messages and offers.
    • Cultural awareness and a natural curiosity—awareness around what other brands are doing.
    • Comfort with a fast-paced, unstructured, high growth environment.
