We are hiring an Analyst to join the Investment Product Development & Origination department. The department includes a team of 6 who are responsible for new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding and fund lifecycle management.  You will be responsible for supporting the product lifecycle management of various alternative investment vehicles including both private market funds and hedge funds. This includes preparing reports, presentations and fact cards as well as executing processes related to existing funds and support of certain regular meetings and committees.

Due to COVID-19, this role will be remote until further notice. The location of the role will be based in New York City once we reopen. 

Responsibilities

  • Create and update new product approval forms, disseminate associated materials and recording minutes.
  • Prepare fund marketing materials with appropriate information
  • Regularly input and update fund governance details
  • Prepare and coordinate of materials related to new fund approvals and ongoing fund management decisions
  • Coordinate internal compliance review and approvals
  • Document and conduct upkeep of various governance systems related to ongoing fund management
  • Assist in various fund launch activities
  • Assisting with ad - hoc requests

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ year of experience preferably in the Private Equity and/or Hedge Fund industry
  • Positive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Comfort with technology and software development process is a plus
