About The Role

We are looking for a Product Manager with a specialized focus on partnerships who will be responsible for prioritizing and driving strategic initiatives across our different software solutions for a high-value group of clients and partners. Your work will be rooted in building features that bring value to our global restaurant and partner stakeholders. You would act as a representative of SevenRooms partnering with some of the most exclusive and prestigious hospitality brands in the world, discussing their needs today and visualizing their needs in the future. You will be joining a 9 person Product team and sit within a squad responsible for the core of the operations tooling at SevenRooms. 

What You’ll Do

  • Project Management: Anticipate bottlenecks, provide support for escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Get in front of stakeholders to prioritize and execute on key functionality. 
  • Product Management: Define business and product requirements; Lead cross-functional teams to execute on product plans and to deliver results; Function as the Product Owner of a development team to define, deliver, build and iterate on capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout SevenRooms to obtain buy-in for product initiatives and to set expectations
  • Partnership Product Ownership: Research, analyze, and interview partners to understand their requirements, operational needs, competitive offerings, and Customer Support cases and translate these into feature specs or product improvements to be delivered back to clients, prioritizing items that create the highest impact for SevenRooms. 
  • Enterprise Partner Coordination: Research, analyze, and interview strategic clients to understand their requirements, operational needs, competitive offerings, and Support cases and translate these into feature specs or product improvements to be delivered back to clients. Prioritize items that help the best hospitality brands in the world, while creating the highest impact for SevenRooms. 

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of product management experience; 4+ years of B2C or B2B SaaS application experience required
  • Experience working with external executive-level partners or clients, including expectation setting, discovery and collaboration, and successful delivery of offerings
  • Experience shipping successful products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs
  • Ability to quickly understand a specific client domain and identify the trends and opportunities in that space
  • Curiosity to dig several layers deep into solutions with an eye toward continuous improvement
  • Experience working in Hospitality and knowledge of restaurant and hotel operators preferred but not required
  • An open mind & flexibility around testing new approaches and the ability to harness failures and turn them into wins

SevenRooms provides access to WeWork co-working spaces for 7Roomies across the country to safely work, collaborate, and connect. Usage of these spaces are optional. Our home WeWork hub is located in the heart of New York City's Financial District.
