Your Impact on our Mission

At Zocdoc we’re building the best experience for millions of patients to find a great doctor. As a Group Product Manager on the Verticals product group, you will be responsible for ideating and launching new verticals that create the best possible patient-provider connections, expand into newer care services, and make healthcare transparent. You will not only be defining how we deepen our value prop with patients but more importantly how we make our healthcare providers more successful. Our team has broader ambitions to expand into the long tail of verticals ranging from everyday care to ultra specialized services that span all the way from small-medium practices to large health systems.

Your day to day is…

  • Answering questions like how do we deliver newer ways to find care? How do we offer new care services on the marketplace? How can Zocdoc contribute to long terms success of healthcare providers
  • Work in collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Product Marketing, Sales, BD, and Business Operations to ensure all stakeholders are on vision, flying in formation and helping to grow the Marketplace business
  • Building consensus around the product roadmap through deep user and competitive research 
  • Communicating the vision across the organization in an inspirational and understandable way
  • Creating and launching healthcare-changing products and platforms that make Zocdoc the preferred place for customers to navigate this complex journey without friction

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling multi-sided marketplace products with key focus on demand-supply growth, revenue expansion, customer experience 
  • Proven track record of entering a new space and building expertise rapidly
  • A passion for successfully navigating ambiguous problem areas
  • An ownership mentality with the ability to develop and execute product initiatives in line with the business strategy
  • Experience leading all aspects of product management. That means identifying market opportunities, user research, defining product vision and roadmap, developing business cases, driving execution activities, setting milestones and measuring results
  • Analytical horsepower and a natural curiosity to solve some of healthcare’s most challenging problems
  • Experience building and leading an inclusive, supportive and collaborative team of great product managers
  • 6-8 years of product background with success growing consumer products

Return to Office

The safety and health of our team members is our top priority. As local case numbers and regulations allow, our NYC office will be accessible to all fully vaccinated employees five days a week, though working in-office remains completely voluntary; everyone is invited but nobody is required to work in the office.
