About the job

Care/of strongly believes that data and analytics are a key part of our product differentiation and long-term innovation. As a direct-to-consumer brand, we can leverage the data we have on our customers’ behaviors and preferences, as well as the performance of our physical and digital products, to optimize the Care/of customer experience. Data helps us create a better, more personalized offering to support our customers’ health & wellness needs.

We are interested in hiring a highly technical analyst supporting our physical and digital product initiatives and goals. This role will be highly cross-functional, collaborating closely with physical product, digital product, and data science teams. This new team member will own analyzing performance of our digital onboarding experience, our e-commerce platform, and the ongoing Care/of member experience with our digital products, both web and app. Our physical product performance is highly linked to this digital product performance, so this analyst will also be responsible for ongoing analytics to understand how our product SKUs and categories perform within this digital ecosystem.


  • Partner with digital and physical product teams to support their business goals with data analysis, including ongoing reporting and longer term projects and explorations
  • Create reports and dashboards using our SQL-based business intelligence tools
  • Clearly convey findings through visualization, written communication, presentations, and/or internal tools
  • Proactively identify opportunities where data analysis can enhance our understanding of our customers, and our physical and digital products
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to directly impact business metrics, such as conversion, retention and customer lifetime value
  • Answer day-to-day inquiries as they arise with real-time SQL reporting


  • Passionate about understanding consumer behavior and product performance through analytics; excited about health & wellness
  • 2-3 years of analytical experience at a tech startup or a finance/consulting firm
  • High proficiency with SQL
  • A good foundation in statistics and undergraduate math; bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field a plus
  • Some experience with Python, Google Analytics, Heap Analytics, and/or Periscope Data a plus
  • An excellent teacher and storyteller
