Freshly is seeking a Product Designer to join our Product team. We believe user experience and user-centered design are integral to building products that are intuitive, easy to use, and ultimately loved by our customers. As a Product Designer at Freshly, you’ll be working with other Product Designers, Product Managers and Developers to bring experiences to life as part of a team that delivers millions of healthy meals a year.

What You'll Do

• Create user journey maps, wireframes, visual designs and basic prototypes for our Acquisitions team, including defining and owning the design direction for landing pages
• Work closely with the Acquisitions Product Manager on customer research needs, from in-product surveys to usability testing and other customer outreach
• Support the Subscribers team (Retention) on large-scale UX projects on both web and the apps
• Collaborate closely with the Brand Marketing team to ensure brand consistency across our various touchpoints
• Bring a perspective to the table, and value objective insight—strong opinions, held loosely
• Keep the mission of making Freshly an amazing place to order food and empower customers and their lives at the forefront of everything you do

Who You Are

• 2+ years designing consumer-driven digital web products and brand experiences; iOS, Android or e-commerce experience a strong plus
• You are competent with Sketch, Invision and Zeplin (bonus: Flinto/Principle), and understand basic HTML/CSS, Javascript and responsive breakpoints
• You use quantitative and qualitative customer data as guiding lights when creating new features and iterating on existing ones. You are an advocate for our users and make the case for your design decisions based on customer insights
• You understand the balance between managing business value, design and technological output for every design decision you make
• You thrive in an agile startup environment where we quickly validate concepts and launch MVPs before perfecting them
• You have the ability to deliver projects quickly with a strong affinity for multitasking and personal organization
• You have strong people skills, as you will work with a variety of teams in an environment that prides itself on its collaborative culture. Your aim is to solve problems through design by considering core business objectives and accounting for stakeholder feedback
• You have tenacity, drive and an innovative outlook. You are hands-on and resourceful across disciplines with respect to your own
• You have the design chops. You stay abreast of advancements in the design world, advocating best practices and principles while being a design resource across teams. You’re looking to hone your design instinct, diversify your skill set and continue growing alongside the team.
