nTopology is hiring for a PRODUCT ENGINEER, PLATFORM. This tactical role works closely with both the Product and Engineering teams to execute on an established product roadmap. This role represents the “product owner” within an agile development process and, among other things, ensures that near-term priorities are exceptionally clear and that the software development team has everything they need to deliver impactful solutions to our customers.

This role reports to VP OF PRODUCT.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain an exceptionally clear and prioritized product backlog.
  • Work across teams to validate requirements and proposed solutions.
  • Actively identify product interdependencies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in scrum meetings to ensure proper alignment with the software development team.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps based on strategic, customer, and technical needs.
  • Be a product expert towards other teams and key customers.

Who You Are:

  • 5-8 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific field.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Technical background, with a broad understanding of and experience with modern CAD/CAE/CAM engineering software, technologies, and workflows.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with computational geometry, finite element analysis, and multi-disciplinary design methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-organized and team oriented.
