The Team: 

New Service Innovation (NSI) is a dedicated global function that focuses on discovering and addressing unmet client needs by building and scaling revenue-generating services. We’re made up of several sub-teams that focus on different families of related services, and partner with commercial stakeholders to streamline demand generation initiatives and service enhancements. NSI is focused on ensuring profitable growth, as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

The Role:

  • This role provides the opportunity to lead one of the most promising recent services developed at AlphaSights
  • If you’re looking to make your mark in a high-growth company, this might be the opportunity for you. Product Launch Managers at AlphaSights are responsible for scoping out, building and operationally launching new value propositions at AlphaSights. 
  • This role focuses on developing and establishing operational processes, handling workflow and technical questions, recruiting and marshalling independent freelance resources, and tackling the details of developing a new operation within an existing company. As a key early recruit into the team, your role will be to launch new services to serve previously unmet client needs. 
  • Specifically, our private equity segment represents the biggest opportunity with this service, and early signs of success have earned the service a position in the segment's mid- to long-term strategy. Moreover, we’ve seen early signs of success with our Consulting and Corporate clients as well.

What you’ll do:

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial professional who is excited to take ownership of a wide set of commercial and operational challenges. The Product Launch Manager would be responsible for: 

  • Growing and managing a bench of independent freelance professionals who execute the service
  • Constantly working to sustainably deliver consistent, high-quality products
  • Identifying and tackling operational improvements to streamline production
  • Partnering with client facing teams to generate demand and improve service adoption, as well as strategically collecting feedback from client facing and clients to make improvements and drive differentiation

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, high growth companies, start-up operations or similar 
  • Resourceful self-starter who is comfortable tackling challenging problems
  • Must possess excellent execution, operational, and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated by client wins and commercial success
  • Adaptable and open-minded; able to pivot with frequent changes inherent in a high-growth service and capable of accepting and acting on feedback
