Responsibilities: 

As a Product Manager on our Operations Team, you will be responsible for building products that deliver against 3 business goals: 

1) 3x-ing the number of schools Saturn supports  

2) Maintaining accurate information at those school 

3) Decreasing operational costs/user 


This role reports to our Director of Product and is embedded within our Operations team.  


On a daily basis, you will: 

  • Partner with our Director of Product to develop quarterly roadmaps
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design throughout projects, helping decrease scope, providing information, and working cross-functionally to unblock teams 
  • Manage product development end-to-end: Gather requirements from stakeholders, strategize and spec solutions, project manage throughout development, oversee QA, manage release and measure impact  
  • Serve as a product expert to ensure that business and product edge cases are proactively considered 
  • Motivate product engineer design (PED) by communicating impact to business strategy and providing visibility into user impact
  • Build MVPs yourself whenever possible so that we can flexibility experiment and validate solutions before investing resources in hard-coding solutions 
  • Earn trust by providing visibility into your work and by proactively communicating risks and bottlenecks 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years as a Product Manager building internal tools
  • Has served as a PM on a team where Eng is a shared resource
  • Experience working with Figma or related design tool  
  • Preference: Experience as non-PM stakeholder (Growth, Operations, CX) where they developed empathy both for the end-user, the internal user, and the product/stakeholder relationship 

This position has an estimated annual salary range of $XXXX to $XXXXX, not including bonus, commission, and equity. This position also comes with full benefits and stock options. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to reach candidates, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors.
