ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for a product manager to help us build out delightful experiences through our entire portfolio of Happy Money products that relate not only to the financial aspects of the products but also reinforces how financial behavior can create happiness and wellbeing. Happy Money customers will be able to determine their specific journey within our products, based on what life stage they are at and their desired goals; an ideal candidate will be able to map out and guide users through that journey.

This position is 100% remote (US only)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Define, analyze and own KPIs to validate and drive the success of features and the product as a whole
  • Reporting on insights, status, and tradeoffs across Happy Money’s products
  • Working with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and scientists to help deliver the best possible experiences for our customers
  • Developing the case for new features and initiatives, articulating value proposition, risk, and strategy
  • Helping define requirements, jobs-to-be-done, and acceptance criteria for the product
  • Helping conduct user research, focus groups, data analysis and experiments; translate into actionable product improvements
  • Be a vocal, active member of the team to ensure we are constantly raising our standard of work and be an advocate of the customers’ needs

ABOUT YOU

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a Product Development role
  • Professional experience with financial services or retail banking
  • Basic understanding of product engineering and architecture to support software product-as-a-service
  • Ability to clearly communicate product, technical, and business requirements
  • Comfortable working at a macro vision level as well as a micro detailed task level
  • Strong data, metrics, and analytical skills
  • Familiar with common product management tools such as productboard, Jira, Trello, etc.
  • An end-to-end thinker and problem solve: curious to learn about the inner workings of financial services and hungry to make it better (and happier!)
  • Experienced in delivering backend systems to support consumer UX, partners, and internal agents
  • Data-informed, but not limited: you know how to define metrics and determine the impact of initiatives, but you also how to derive insights from both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Customer-centric in thought: from balancing business, tech, and design to prototyping and validation – you place the customer at the heart of every decision you make

  • Experience in behavioral change interventions
  • Research design and design thinking
  • Familiar with common product management tools including the Atlassian suite, Mixpanel, Segment, Full Story, Tableau, and associated roadmapping tools
