About the Role:

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our team and lead the efforts for our carrier-facing mobile app. In this role, you’ll own the evolution of the mobile experience for carriers within the Transfix app ecosystem, and develop a deep understanding of the challenges facing carriers in the freight industry. Through user-research, you’ll learn directly from truck drivers their pain points and develop elegant solutions that will make their lives easier. You’ll partner with internal stakeholders across tech and business to develop and execute a roadmap of innovative solutions unparalleled in the industry. What You'll Do in this Role:

• Drive booking, automation tracking, and carrier engagement via our mobile app
• Lead the evolution of the Transfix mobile app into a best-in-class platform for our community of carriers
• Work with internal partners in the tech and business organizations as well as with our offshore development team to align and prioritize immediate and long-term initiatives to drive the business objectives 
• Work cross functionally across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to develop and drive the roadmap for mobile experiences at Transfix
• Lead user research by gathering insight from both internal and external stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing drivers and carriers in the freight industry

How You Know this Role is for You:

• You have 3+ years of experience in mobile product management
• You are a self-starter who is passionate about creating great user experiences and is eager to build best-in-class products for customers (in this case the external carrier community!)
• You have strong prior mobile app experience and a track record of success owning and driving end-user facing products.
• You are skilled in and have experience defining, designing, and shipping sophisticated products at scale, with a strong understanding of the disciplines which contribute to product development
• You have experience defining a complete roadmap of mobile applications
• You have experience partnering effectively with engineering and design as well as with cross-functional teams and senior leaders
• You have experience with agile development or a similar product development methodology
• You are an excellent communicator who is equally comfortable speaking with business or technical stakeholders
• You are detail oriented, accountable, and have strong oral and written communication skills
