Flex is an early-stage, remote-first FinTech startup that is bringing flexible payments to recurring bills. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2022 and you’re still not able to choose when you pay your bills. Flex is a multi-bill platform. We began by revolutionizing rent — Americans’ largest recurring bill. Flex enables its users to pay rent and bills throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances. With Flex, everybody can better manage their bills and budget.

After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we plan to scale to 300 team members in 2022. Will you be a part of the team?

What you'll do

• Advocate for the payments needs of consumers and develop a vision for the future of the payments product and a plan to get there
• Drive new product feature development from ideation to planning and execution
• Implement new payment methods, enhance our existing payments workflows, to allow for seamless payments for consumers
• Perform both quantitative and qualitative research to identify key areas of improvement or uncover new opportunities
• Create strong relationships with partners and other parts of the business, to make sure payments supports Flex’s overall strategy and success

Who you are

• Proven experience in leading product initiatives
• Strong understanding of payment rails such as cards and ACH, and experience building payment workflows
• Demonstrated ability to lead team and manage timelines to achieve business goals
• Ability to ruthlessly prioritize and ensure that the team is focusing on the most important goals
• Deep analytical skills - ability to translate key business questions into data questions, and subsequently drive insights through analytics and experiments
• Ability to thrive in complex environments that require close collaboration across teams
