Job Description

SIMON is looking for a Product Manager, with 2 - 5years of experience. In this role, you’ll cultivate a deep understanding of the US wealth management industry and the way that our technology is developed to scale the distribution of complex financial products.

 

How Your Will Fulfill Your Potential

  • Develop a strong understanding of the US Wealth Management Industry and make prioritization recommendations, which are grounded in knowledge of our industry and our clients
  • Build a deep technical understanding of risk managed solutions, including structured investments, annuities, and many other financial products that are rapidly being added to our platform
  • Find scalable solutions that meet a new business opportunity or address feedback received
  • Drive usage and adoption of the platform by finding solutions, which meet user needs and drive platform stickiness
  • Own and drive strategic growth initiatives for the company
  • Work closely with the Senior Product Manager to write user stories and requirements documentation
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses and technology trends
  • Operate an within an agile development framework by defining user stories, planning sprints, and driving retrospective

 

What We're Looking For

  • 2 – 5 years of professional work experience
  • The ability to work with external and internal stakeholders directly and, taking away feedback to constantly improve SIMON’s offerings.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the different components of the technology stack for a cloud-based application
  • Previous experience in financial services and/or financial technology
  • Previous experience within the WealthTech domain
  • Proven ability to operate within the fast pace nature of a growth company.
