ABOUT THE ROLE

The Product Managers at MANTL help drive the vision, strategy and continued development of MANTL’s SaaS B2B2C platform. Your job will be to understand problems and champion and execute on the solutions that will enable financial institutions to operate more efficiently across operations, compliance, data, integrations and marketing as they take full advantage of the MANTL system.

We have opportunities available in multiple areas ranging from data and analytics, core banking technology, and our account opening experience.

As a Product Manager, you should bring an entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem solving and user-centric thinking to our team to build new products from minimally viable experiments to iterating and scaling existing products. You will work closely alongside Engineering, Design and other key business partners and report to the Director of Product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help define and guide the strategic direction of your product and problem area through customer and competitive research 
  • Partner with Engineers, Designers and other key stakeholders turn vision into seamless execution
  • Help drive outcome-focused prioritization of things ranging from huge to small, understanding that what matters most is how the product impacts our customers and our business
  • Ensure cohesion between products and the overall platform through effective collaboration with fellow Product Managers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in product management, product operations, program management or a role that worked closely with product and engineering teams
  • You have a passion for working on large and complex systems where every piece impacts another, and you enjoy making them as simple and elegant as possible
  • You bring experience leading one or more concurrent cross-functional teams of application developers and product designers, bringing all disciplines together through ideation, launch, and iteration
  • You have experience using both quantitative and qualitative data in making product decisions and guiding product strategy
  • You have an exceptional visual intelligence with a “good eye” toward keen aesthetics
  • You have excellent pattern recognition, logic, and quantitative skills that help you think systemically and make collaborate well
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are great at explaining highly complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  • You have a can-do attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously

NICES TO HAVES:

  • Background in Finance, FinTech, or Banking Software
  • Experience working at a venture-backed startup
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Service Desk
  • Proficiency with Excel and SQL
  • Experience leading multiple teams

MANTL is located in NoMad, Manhattan within walking distance of some of NYC's best restaurants, bars, and shopping! The office is easy to get to with various train and bus stops being close by.
