CardFlight is looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Product team. The PM will work closely with one of our scrum teams to develop and maintain applications built on the CardFlight platform. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing startup, work collaboratively with developers and designers and have a big impact on the payments industry. We’re looking for a candidate with a background in SaaS and a history of shipping.

The PM will report directly to the Head of Product.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as Product Owner to one of our engineering scrum teams.

  • Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks.

  • Lead a scrum team through all the typical agile ceremonies, from sprint planning, to standups, to retrospectives.

  • Coordinate feature development by taking potential ideas all the way through to launching to our user base. This includes the collaborating with design, coordinating creation of technical specifications, user story acceptance and maintenance throughout the life of the product.

  • Build and manage relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.

  • Provide insight into our competitive landscape and available technologies in the market serving as an expert on best practices related to mobile, tablet and web products.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Basic understanding of modern web technologies

  • Proven experience in taking projects from conception to completion

  • Strong ability to multitask and manage deadlines from various stakeholders

  • Self-starter who is energetic, enthusiastic, confident, adaptable & results-oriented

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Strong willingness to learn and be coached

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations

  • A passion for creating

 

What We’d Love for You to Have:

  • A simple side project you created outside of a full-time job

  • Experience in working in close proximity to software engineers

  • Experience in and/or knowledge of the mobile payments industry and technologies
