About the team:

Our product management team is responsible for defining and delivering winning product releases that support our company goals, but more importantly – our customer’s needs. As the leader in workload automation, we’re growing our Cloud Product Management team to meet our customers in their journey to digital transformation, but we need you to come help drive our product along the way.

As part of our product management team, you will help define and prioritize a roadmap; Locate opportunities, articulate value and define requirements based on the intersection of customer demand, Turbonomic IP and market opportunities; Find and maintain product market fit with the help and support of sales, marketing, engineering and end-users. The ideal candidate is customer focused, familiar with cloud technologies, able to balance business goals, schedules and customer needs in a dynamic market while working closely with our R&D engineering team to launch and iterate product features.

On this team, you’ll get to continuously learn about cutting edge technologies, since our platform is tech-agnostic, integrating with the platforms and technologies our customers adopt over time. We also offer the exciting opportunity to test new ideas and contribute patents (we currently have 10 patents with 6 more pending – all from employees). You’ll get to see the direct results of your work running at scale across top enterprise clients within a matter of months through each new release we make, giving you plenty of opportunity for impact.

What you'll do in this position:

  • Enable the success of engineering, sales engineers, customers and client communities
  • Articulate opportunity and help deliver new features with requirement definition
  • Generate, gather and prioritize feature requests in alignment with product roadmap
  • Help identify key metrics and opportunities to track product growth and feature adoption
  • Coordinate feature launches, orchestrate testing, documentation, customer communication, field training and adoption.

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Technical background in any discipline
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant experience
  • Ability to influence, present and simplify complex products and processes
  • Ability to understand and manage customer expectations. Customer facing experience preferred.
  • Subject matter expertise in any of the following (the more the better, not necessarily all of it):
  • (1) Infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, networking)
  • (2) AWS/Azure/GCP concepts and practices
  • (3) User Experience and Design
  • (4) Customer success
  • Willing to travel and comfortable working with remote teams
  • The ability to map technical solutions to real-world problems
