Product Manager

We are looking for an highly-motivated, an entrepenurial individual to execute our GTM for our promotions business where we help consumers save, win, and earn money. This individual will need to have strong consumer-centric product management experience. As a product manager, you will be responsible for working with the Product leadership and various executive sponsors to shape our web strategy and drive the product requirements process working with both internal and external stakeholders. You work closely with our our media, creative, content and development resources to push each web property into MVP and eventually live operations.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the promotions business product road-map. This includes working with internal stakeholders and external development teams to prioritize the backlog based on development initiatives, on-going data analysis, and feature forecasting.
- Define, design, and manage key features that further the overall strategic vision of the product including maximizing acquisition, engagement, and monetization.
- Leverage analytics and quantitative analysis to monitor app performance, tune mechanics, and identify new features to impact KPIs.
- Track performance on a daily basis, communicate reports/scorecards to internal and external stakeholders, and adjust designs/plans accordingy.
- Lead the development of a new information architecture and user flows for our web properties-- that make sense for our target audiences and offerings.
- Work with the content marketing manager to ensure that web content is displayed in the way that most delights users, is easy to find, boosts SEO, and converts healthily.
- Partner with internal analytics and data engineering teams to develop a data strategy road-map to fully optimize and operationalize web acquisition.
- Partner with the Media and align our traffic acquisition strategies across search, display, affiliate and social media channels.
- Establish KPIs for all web properties. Track performance and course-correct when necessary to ensure marketing plans are delivering expected business outcomes.
Requirements
- 4+ years working product management and shipping product
- 2+ years as a digital Product Manager working with mobile web and desktop properties
- Experience with APIs and other data extraction/load methodologies. (Nice to have)
- Deep SEO experience through technical, content strategy, and brand lenses.
- WordPress configuration and admin experience. (Nice to have)
- Experience with the road mapping and project management of websites using agile methodology.
- Experience building process for, and running, conversion optimization and A/B tests.
- Well versed in modern web analytics and testing tools. A POV on which tools are worth their weight and what the tradeoffs of using one over another might be.
- Self-motivated team player and problem solver that is capable of thinking outside of the box.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data driven design and decision making. Should possess high level abilities in SQL and Excel.
- Capable of working in a fast paced AGILE development environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and projects.
- Ability to define specs or PRDs with clear technical requirements, user flows, and wire-frames.
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, Marketing, Economics or related major.
- Mastery of the following tech stacks: Wordpress, JIRA (or similar), Google Analytics, Optimizely (or similar), Moz (or similar), Google Sheets & Slides, PowerBI (or similar, like Looker or Tableau), Cake (or other multi-touch attribution software).
- An entrepreneurial attitude and eagerness to fail, learn, and try again.
- Resourceful personality with exceptional attention to detail.
