Product Manager
About MaestroQA
Our mission is to help companies across the world improve their customers’ experiences with better customer support. Our solutions streamline quality assurance practices, improve customer support coaching, and provide data-driven reporting. We’re growing rapidly to help reshape how some of the world’s fastest-growing and most innovative companies — including Etsy, Stitch Fix, Postmates, Lyft, and Squarespace — engage with their customers.
We believe that great products are created by people with different backgrounds, cultures, skills, interests, and perspectives. At Maestro, we’re proud to have a culture of inclusivity, and we encourage people to be their authentic and best selves.
The Role
Our product teams solve hard problems in ways that our customers love and that work well for our business. They are cross-functional, generally including a product manager, product designer, and several engineers. Together, we come up with solutions that are valuable (our customers choose to buy and use), viable (supports our business goals and works within its constraints), usable (the user can figure out how to use), and feasible (can be built by our team).
We’re a small, growing team where you can have an outsized impact not just on our product, but also on the way we work and grow.
We’re looking for a product manager that will:
- Build an unmatched understanding of our users and customers by regularly conducting user research, reviewing product metrics, and tracking the industry
- Show a deep commitment to prioritizing work that supports our business goals and delivers value to users
- Work closely with designers, engineers, marketing, sales, and customer success to drive from a problem space to a solution that’s loved by our users
- Be excited to sign up for — and work hard to drive — results for our business and customers, and to deliver them by working through others and influencing them with data and logic
Ideal candidates will be able to:
- Enhance our techniques and methods for modern product discovery, design, and delivery
- Learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, sales, and marketing
- Figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
- Navigate the competing priorities of a B2B solution supporting small, mid-market, and enterprise clients
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up
Qualities to Succeed
The below qualities are shared by everyone at Maestro and in part, define our culture. You can expect everyone you work with to exhibit these qualities, and it is important that you do too!
- Growth mindset: Be open to the perspectives of others, to new ways of doing things, and to doing things you’ve never done before. Every interaction is a new opportunity to learn something.
- Impact-driven: Be driven to impact Maestro's success. Your role and each task at hand impacts the value of our business and the value we offer our customers.
- Team player: Be someone everyone else is happy to have on their team and looks forward to working with. Grow and succeed as a team by collaborating with others and helping them achieve their goals.
- Ownership: Be responsible for your goals and impact. Success is about the larger team: help others, own your part, and ask for help when you need it.
Benefits and perks
We provide competitive salaries, stock options, and benefits like remote work, health coverage, 401k, team events, and more! By far, the biggest perk is the opportunity to learn by working from the foundation to the topping out. You get to actually build the roller coaster rather than just ride on it!
