What's Clyde - Clyde is an end-to-end product protection platform that is rethinking the way retailers increase loyalty and drive revenue, and the way customers manage their purchases. We are tackling the $50B per year extended warranty market and becoming the de facto solution in the space by leveraging an intense focus on product, design, and customer experience. Clyde delivers product protection plans directly to consumers as they shop, owning the relationship from purchase to claim submission to resolution. We know that the relationship between retailers and their customers is far from over after checkout so we’re building products to deliver value at every stage of this relationship.

We are looking for a strategic and creative Product Manager, who can lead development on our merchant platform and deliver a delightful end to end merchant experience with Clyde. This role will own the Product team’s contribution to merchant acquisition by delivering incremental additional value to our retailer base, in order to (1) solve analogous challenges for our retailers, like the management of their limited warranty and registrations, while (2) increasing warranty attachment rate by increasing a consumer's interactions with the Clyde platform.

As Product Manager of Clyde’s merchant platform, you will be leading all product activities from vision to implementation, including engaging large enterprise customers to understand their needs, developing long-term product strategy based on qualitative and quantitative data, and working with engineering to build those products. Your vision will help Clyde create a holistic platform of services of which our consumer ownership ecosystem will sit on top of. Additionally, in this role you will work with Partnerships, Merchant Success and Sales (both pre- and post-launch) collaborating on top initiatives to support Clyde’s best in class services and guarantee product success!

Candidates based in New York and/or willing to relocate are preferred. This role is temporarily based remotely.

An opportunity to...

  • Develop a deep understanding of merchant needs through customer research, data analytics, and experimentation
  • Lead end to end product development with a squad to deliver key initiatives on the roadmap
  • Work with the Product and Engineering team to translate high-level concepts into iterative deliverables
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into product requirements
  • Generate detailed requirements documentation and socialize them across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of product experience at a B2B SaaS company
  • Technical experience with building and rolling out platforms, APIs, SaaS architectures
  • Fluency with Agile methodologies
  • Strong operational data skills and a general eye for data (SQL, building operational dashboards)
  • A self-starter seeking ownership
  • Willing and able to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
